Methodology

Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through our fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2).

6 of the 28 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 22 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 2 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere.

The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source in USD (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences), so N counts sources, never sentences; 231 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded.

The fuller derivation this dataset is chartered to grow into (not yet what the figures above are; they are each source's own published figure as read): the published price per employee per month across every benefits platform, HR suite and PEO that states one - with the base fee separated from the per-head fee, because the two publishers who state both (Gusto's $49/mo + $6 per person, Justworks' base fee) are priced quite differently from the flat per-head vendors - and, as a first-class column rather than a footnote, WHO PUBLISHES AT ALL: the share of the named market that answers with a figure against the share that answers with a quote form, measured per market, since the GB market's best-known names publish nothing and the small GB vendors publish £4.50 flat; plus repriced-since between reads, and what the fee includes (feeds, modules, implementation) where the vendor itemises

231 candidate sentences on these pages were refused by a reviewer; each refusal and its reason is recorded in the review ledger.
